Time for my first actual post, a review for my Gou Matsuoka wig!
It took me quite awhile to decide on my cosplay for NDK this year, but once I did I got everything ordered just about immediately. And now, the review!
This is the wig I ordered, which you can purchase here. It was only $19.00, and I was able to pay with a Visa gift card. I'm a cheap person when it comes to buying wigs, so this was a great price for me!
I ordered it on August 18th, and it arrived on August 30th, so it arrived in under two weeks. The packaging was simple but nice, and the wig came undamaged!
The main wig and the ponytail piece were in separate nets to keep from tangling, but they were in the same bag.
The main fringe was unstyled, but the side fringe was. It was pulled back into a smaller ponytail to clip on the ponytail. The ponytail was a good length with a very nice clip. The whole thing is very silky and easy to brush.
It has a really nice lace cap, and the hooks for sizing stay hooked (my least favourite thing is when they don't).
I first took a picture of the back without the ponytail clipped in (please excuse the teal hair, I don't have any wigcaps at the moment!), then with it clipped in, and then a front view with the bangs untrimmed.
I trimmed the bangs, but without any styling products I couldn't fully set the front, but I got the majority of it set! Here's what it looks like styled:
Here's a close-up with my webcam (that's why it's not the best quality). It frizzed up a little bit because I'd taken it off/put it back on about three times by then, haha.

Overall this wig is amazing, and honestly the best wig I've ever owned! It's definitely something I can wear for cosplay, and just on it's own. You can see more pictures on my Facebook page!
