Iwatobi Swim Jacket Review

Hello once again!

I know I've uploaded nonstop reviews, so sorry if that's not your cup of tea.

So anyway... I went to NDK (NanDesuKan) in Denver back in Septrember. Sadly enough, I got sick on Saturday and had to go home before the second Free! photoshoot, but I was able to go to the first one on the Friday! And of course... My full cosplay finally got delivered on Saturday afternoon.

So because of that, I have an Iwatobi swim jacket to review!

Iwatobi Swim Jacket!

It shipped in nice packaging, and was on sale at the time so I got free shipping!

It was in an outer package that was of a lot tougher material, and then the jacket itself was encased in another plastic bag itself.

It was clean and had no damages, and was really nice quality!

It's normally $30.00, but I got it when it was on sale, so only $15.00! For both prices it's super

It's super comfortable, not too warm but also keeps you warm if it's chilly out like it was that weekend.

The only complaints I would have is the zipper is a little cheap feeling, and gets stuck when fully zipped on occasion. Also, the "Iwatobi" on the back is slightly shifted to the right.
Otherwise, I definitely recommend it!

Flower Crown DIY

Hello~!

Today I'll be making a flower crown DIY tutorial! My friend makes her own flower crowns, and she taught me while she was over the other day. So if you're interested, here you go!

Materials:

  • Fake flowers
  • Scissors
  • Wire (most people use green)
  • Embellishments (Optional)
  • Ribbon OR Floral tape
  • Hot glue gun
  • Glue dots (Optional)

STEP ONE

First, behead your flowers! Make sure you leave enough of a 'nub' on the ends to push through the wire.

STEP TWO

Braid your wire! Make sure it's big enough that it will fit around your head where you want your crown to  lay WHEN BRAIDED- Doing this when it's still loose will make it too small in the end!
STEP THREE

Poke the flower nubs into the spaces between the wires. Make sure they're where you want them, and then take the glue gun and glue them. Continue to do this until all your flowers are on.

STEP FOUR

Glue on your embellishments! For mine, I just put a few little studs in the centers of my flowers. For some ideas, tiny mirrors and birds look adorable!

STEP FIVE

If you're using floral tape, wrap the tape around your wire till it's fully covered. If you're using ribbon (like I did), first cut it in half. Then glue one half right behind your last flower (I ran out of hot glue sticks, so I had to use glue dots). Wrap it till half of the exposed wires are covered. Do the same with the other half on the other side. Tie them around where they meet in a single knot. Then tie another so it's a double knot. Turn the knot into a double bow, and you're done!

If you're doing two ribbons, wrap both and tie the single knot before turning them into the bow.

I hope this helped! If you have any questions, just comment and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Thanks for reading ♥!

OASAP Review

Hellooo~!

So back around March (I think?), I bought my first pair of creepers off of eBay. They were pretty inexpensive, and a bit uncomfortable since they were very stiff. But in July, I went to the Art Institute's Summer Studio, in which I stayed in a hotel for a week and lost one of them... And cried for months.

And finally, I was able to buy a new pair... Which I shall be reviewing here!

OASAP Fashion Suede Creepers

I ordered these back on October 30th, and they arrived yesterday, November 8th. As they shipped from China, that was actually surprisingly fast.

My mom tore into the packaging before I could get good pictures of the packaging((she was nice and paid for them, so they shipped to her)), but I tried my best.

The actual shoe box was wrapped twice in the plastic packaging, one with the shipping information and the other for extra protection. I was really happy to see how well packaged they were!

As soon as I got them out of the box, I went and sprayed them with waterproofing spray since it's about to snowing here.

The soles/platform are well made, it's solid but a little squishy, so they're really comfy. I got a size 38/7, since they run half a size too big. I usually wear an 8, and they fit perfectly. The side around my ankles are a little stiff, so after long wear it may start to bug me. The suede is really soft, and it looks really well made. I'm really glad I bought these shoes, and they're definitely going to be put to good use!
